The nine Ringwraiths - mortal kings who accepted Rings of Power from Sauron and were enslaved by them, fading into undeath. The Nazgûl are Sauron's most feared servants, invisible to normal sight and radiating a paralysing dread. Their leader is the Witch-king of Angmar.
