The Elendel Constabulary is the primary law enforcement body of Elendel, the largest city in the Elendel Basin on Scadrial. Organised into multiple precincts across the city, the constabulary handles everything from petty crime to major investigations. During the events of Mistborn Era 2, the constabulary employs both Wayne and Marasi Colms, who rise from constable to detective over the course of the series. The force operates in an era of rapid technological change - electric lights, motorcars, and radio are transforming the city - and its methods are evolving alongside. Corruption within the force and political interference from the Elendel Senate are recurring challenges.
