A noble house of Men in the First Age, cursed by Morgoth for Húrin's defiance. The curse follows Húrin's children - Túrin and Niënor - through their brief, tragic lives, manipulated by the dragon Glaurung and the malice of the Dark Lord. Their story is the darkest in all of Tolkien's legendarium.
