Cast views, heatmaps, and browse by occupation

Cast view is now available on series pages. Switch to the Cast tab to see enriched character cards with role badges, description snippets, and which books each character appears in. The cast view supports search, filtering, and pagination for larger series.

Appearance heatmaps give you a visual grid of which characters appear in which books across a series. Cells are colour-coded by appearance type - solid for POV chapters, medium for on-page appearances, and faint for mentions.

Browse characters by occupation - the Characters page now includes an Occupation tab alongside Role, Species, Nationality, and Gender. Each value links to a dedicated facet page. The browse section also has a new column layout with sort controls (most used or A-Z).

Entity links in notes - appearance notes on book segment views and curator pages now render cross-references as clickable links.

Entity-coloured table headers across the site give data tables a cleaner, more branded look.

We now track 621 characters across 13 universes, with full Cosmere attribution to the Coppermind wiki.
