Site search now ranks the obvious match first, returns glossary entries again, and looks tidier. The curator dashboard confirms what just happened when you delete or restore something. Browsing and filtering long lists feels much snappier - no more skeleton flashes or scroll jumps. Glossary links in blog posts work properly.
A big accessibility pass covering keyboard navigation, focus management, table semantics, and high-contrast mode. Mobile users get tables that scroll instead of pushing the page sideways. A couple of slow query patterns got fixed and link previews load with fewer database calls.
A database fix cuts read volume dramatically, the header now shows your signed-in state instantly instead of flickering, and glossary entries are better organised.

We now track which pages are most visited (anonymously) and use that to put the most-needed incomplete characters at the top of the list. 62 book descriptions flagged with spoiler guards.
A new page helps contributors find characters that need work. The dashboard is redesigned around what you can do next. Book descriptions that contain spoilers for earlier books are now hidden behind a reveal button. Over 30 entity descriptions rewritten to remove spoilers.
The homepage now leads with the spoiler-safe promise. A new contributor landing page makes it easy to get involved, and character pages invite visitors to help fill in missing information.
Life events now filter at the chapter level for books you're currently reading, so you won't see spoilers from later in the book. Several suggest-links and UI improvements too.
Entity slugs can now be manually edited and disambiguated on creation. Nationality lookup values are grouped by universe in the admin UI and character forms. Curator search ranks name-start matches above substring matches. Audit log sources diff fully fixed. Nested hierarchical entity URLs now 308 redirect to canonical flat URLs to eliminate duplicate content.
Character aliases move from a flat JSON field to a dedicated table with optional segment boundaries, then the legacy JSON column is dropped. New character roles table tracks narrative role changes over time. Success toast notifications added site-wide. Group memberships gain an optional notes field with rich text. Audit log source diff fix. Life event subtype editing fixed and 78 notes enriched with entity links.
Full award histories seeded across 12 authors and 80+ books, toast notifications replace the inline error notices, admin lookup tables gain search filters, and life event display names resolve from lookups.

Characters can now have portrait images displayed across the site. The reading profile has been rebuilt with a series-centric wizard, smarter cascade logic that respects your reading order, and public pages that no longer let you accidentally change your progress.
Spoiler filtering now works at the chapter level, story arcs respect your reading order, and The Expanse has full POV chapter tracking across all nine books.
