Homepage discovery strip and smarter links

New homepage discovery strip - the homepage now has a three-panel strip showing what's happening on the site: Popular (this week, this month, or all time), ways to Help shape the site (content requests open for votes), and Recently added. The intro has been tightened to get you to the good stuff faster.

Links survive character merges - when two character pages are merged into one, links and bookmarks to the old page now forward automatically to the surviving page instead of showing "not found".

Clearer group section labels - when a universe, series, and book share a name, the group sections on a page now say which one they belong to, for example "Groups in The Culture (series)" versus "(universe)".

Curator: description review queue - curators get a new tool that lists characters whose descriptions still need checking against the spoiler-safe, intro-book-only guideline, comparing each description against the character's first appearance.
