A young Tiste Andii and leader of a group of Andii youths who were left behind in Drift Avalii. Nimander carries the burden of leadership he feels unready for, haunted by self-doubt and the impossible standard set by Anomander Rake. His journey to Black Coral forces him to confront what it means to lead a people defined by ennui and loss.
