An ancient and patient dwarf vengeance entity drawn into being by an act of deep murder, who follows the killers as a single dark eye and offers itself to whoever will carry it. It seizes briefly upon Sam Vimes in the cave at Koom Valley, and learns that the Watch carries its own quieter darkness to keep it on its leash.
