A large, dark red golem who works at a slaughterhouse in Ankh-Morpork. Unlike other golems, Dorfl begins to develop independent thought and turns himself in to the Watch for the murder of Father Tubelcek, though the situation proves more complex. After Carrot buys him for a dollar and gives him his own ownership deed, Dorfl becomes the first free golem and eventually joins the Watch as its first golem constable.
