An acolyte of the Citadel in Oldtown, slim and dark-skinned with close-cropped black curls, nicknamed 'the Sphinx' by the other students. A gifted archer and quick study who has already forged three links of the maester's chain in a single year, Alleras is in fact Sarella Sand, one of the Sand Snakes of Dorne, living at the Citadel in disguise.
