A branch of the Magisterium responsible for the experiments at Bolvangar, where children are separated from their daemons through intercision. Known colloquially as 'the Gobblers' because of their practice of kidnapping children from the streets. Led by Mrs Coulter, the Board pursues intercision as a way to prevent Dust from settling on children at puberty. The word 'oblation' means a religious offering or sacrifice.
