Winged skeletal horses visible only to those who have witnessed death. They pull the Hogwarts carriages and Luna Lovegood is the first to explain them to Harry in Order of the Phoenix. The DA rides them to the Ministry of Magic, and they fight in the Battle of Hogwarts.
