Formally the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Mormon Church commissions the construction of the Nauvoo at Tycho Station - a massive generation ship intended to carry colonists on a centuries-long voyage to a new star system, representing the largest single private construction project in human history. The church's investment is lost when the Nauvoo is commandeered by Fred Johnson and the OPA to use as a projectile against Eros. Although the ship is later recovered, it is repurposed as a military vessel and eventually becomes Medina Station, never fulfilling its original purpose.
