The MCRN Donnager is a Donnager-class battleship and flagship of the Martian Congressional Republic Navy's Jupiter fleet. One of the most powerful warships in the system, she is destroyed in battle by stealth ships when she picks up the Canterbury survivors for interrogation. The attack on the Donnager - and Mars's inability to defend her - shocks the system and demonstrates that an unknown force possesses military technology capable of challenging even Mars. The Canterbury survivors escape during the battle aboard the corvette Tachi, which they rename the Rocinante.
