Old Tongue for 'servant of all.' A society of women who wield the One Power, composed solely of women since the Breaking, when all men with the ability to channel went mad. They are divided into seven Ajahs, each with its own specialty, and are led by the Amyrlin Seat from the White Tower in Tar Valon.
