A secret organisation that harboured women put out of the White Tower and runaways from it. Its ruling body was called the Knitting Circle. The Kin began during the chaos of the Trolloc Wars when a group of women who had been put out of the Tower remained together for safety, eventually settling in what would become Ebou Dar.
