Living constructs created by the Forsaken Aginor during the War of the Shadow, designed to serve the Dark One. They include Trollocs, Myrddraal, Draghkar, Darkhounds, gholam and Gray Men. Most Shadowspawn cannot pass through gateways or survive long away from the Blight, though there are exceptions.
