Formerly known as Aridhol, capital of one of the Ten Nations, its people used an evil as great as the Shadow to fight the Shadow, corrupting themselves utterly. The city was destroyed circa 1200 AB, but the sentient evil called Mashadar remained within its ruins, deadly to any who entered.
