Seven disc-shaped seals made of cuendillar (heartstone), each marked with the ancient symbol of the Aes Sedai, that serve as focus points for the barrier holding the Dark One in his prison. Though cuendillar is supposedly indestructible, the seals weakened over the centuries. The Amyrlin Seat bears the title 'Watcher of the Seals' in recognition of their importance.
