A vast expanse of plateaus separated by deep chasms on the eastern edge of Roshar, where the Alethi wage a war of attrition against the Parshendi. The Plains were created when the ancient city of Stormseat was destroyed. The Alethi use mobile bridges to cross between plateaus to reach gemhearts (enormous gemstones) that emerge from chrysalises in the chasms.
