An elite Fjerdan military order dedicated to hunting, capturing, and executing Grisha. The druskelle are trained from youth at a military academy, taught to view Grisha as demons and abominations against their god Djel. They undergo harsh physical training and religious indoctrination. Matthias Helvar, a former druskelle who falls in love with the Grisha Nina Zenik, embodies the conflict between his training and his conscience.
