Ravka's Grisha military force, led by the Darkling and based at the Little Palace in Os Alta. Unlike the conventional First Army (composed of ordinary soldiers), the Second Army is made up entirely of Grisha who use the Small Science in combat. The tension between the two armies reflects the broader distrust between Grisha and ordinary people in Ravkan society.
