A period of divine punishment during which the god Apollo is cast down to earth in mortal form and must survive without his divine powers. Stripped of immortality and forced to serve a demigod master, Apollo must complete a series of dangerous tasks to regain his place among the gods. The experience teaches him humility and the value of mortal life.
