A Fremen cave dwelling and community stronghold on Arrakis. The word literally means 'place of assembly in time of danger,' but because the Fremen lived so long in peril it came to designate any cave warren inhabited by a tribal community. Each sietch contains water stores, stillsuit manufacturing, and communal living spaces. Sietch Tabr is the home of Stilgar's tribe and later Paul Muad'Dib.
