Third planet of Gamma Waiping, the original homeworld of House Corrino and later designated the Imperial Prison Planet. Its extraordinarily harsh environment is used to forge the Sardaukar, the Emperor's fearsome soldier-fanatics. The Fremen of Arrakis endure conditions at least as severe, which is why they can match the Sardaukar in battle.
