An ancient hunting language used as a secret tongue by the Bene Gesserit and adapted by the Fremen of Arrakis. Derived from pre-Imperium linguistic traditions, Chakobsa served as a private means of communication that outsiders could not understand. The Atreides family also knew elements of the language, using it for private communication in situations where they feared being overheard. Its survival across millennia demonstrated the persistence of pre-Imperial cultural elements despite the dominance of Galach.
