The Imperial capital world of House Corrino, a geologically stable planet known for its lush gardens and the opulence of the Imperial Court. Kaitain served as the seat of the Padishah Emperor and housed the Great Hall of the Imperial Palace, whose walls were covered with mosaics depicting the peoples of the Imperium. The palace was destroyed during an uprising early in Paul Atreides' Jihad. The planet also hosted a Bene Gesserit chapter house dedicated to educating children of the Great Houses.
