The name given to Giedi Prime after the fall of House Harkonnen and the ecological restoration of the planet. Once an industrialised wasteland under Harkonnen rule, the world was transformed over millennia into a forested planet. Under its new name, Gammu became a significant world during the time of the Honored Matres and served as a key location in the conflict between the returning Scattered populations and the remnants of the Old Empire.
