A remote-controlled assassination device consisting of a hair-thin metal sliver measuring five centimetres or less, powered by a compressed suspensor field. Operated through a control console within a 75-metre range, the sliver was guided by a pointed crystal eye at its nose. Once it penetrated a victim's body, the sliver was drawn along nerve pathways to the major organs, causing inevitable death. The metal was designed to disintegrate within half an hour, leaving only the tiny crystal eye. Originally a secret weapon of House Corrino, its existence was publicly revealed in 10155.
