Logen Ninefingers' berserk alter ego - a state of uncontrollable, indiscriminate violence that descends on him in moments of mortal danger. When the Bloody-Nine emerges, Logen loses all control and kills everything within reach, friend and enemy alike. It is the central horror of his character: the knowledge that the worst thing about him is also the thing that keeps him alive.
