The advisory body that governs the Seven Kingdoms alongside the King. Its members include the Hand of the King (chief minister), the Master of Coin (treasury), the Master of Whisperers (intelligence), the Master of Laws, the Master of Ships (navy), and the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard. The Hand of the King rules in the monarch's absence and sits on the Iron Throne when the King is away.
