The seat of House Martell in Dorne, located where the Greenblood meets the sea. Unlike the great fortresses of other regions, Sunspear is a modest castle surrounded by a shadow city of mud-brick buildings. Dorne was the only kingdom to resist Aegon's Conquest, and Sunspear remained unconquered by dragonfire.
