The royal house after Robert's Rebellion, ruling from the Red Keep. Founded by Orys Baratheon, rumoured bastard brother of Aegon the Conqueror, who defeated the last Storm King and took his castle, sigil (the crowned stag), and words ('Ours Is the Fury'). Robert Baratheon seized the Iron Throne by right of conquest and his Targaryen grandmother. After Robert's death, his brothers Stannis and Renly both claim the throne, splitting the House.
