The largest of the three great slaver cities of Slaver's Bay, located in the east of Essos. Built of coloured brick, it is dominated by a great pyramid and surrounded by lesser pyramids housing its noble families. Meereen's economy was historically built upon the slave trade, making it central to the politics of the region.
