The southernmost of the Seven Kingdoms, a hot and arid land separated from the rest of Westeros by the Red Mountains. Dorne was the only kingdom to resist Aegon's Conquest, joining the realm peacefully through marriage over a century later. Its customs differ markedly from the rest of Westeros, including equal primogeniture and a more relaxed attitude towards paramours.
