An ancient race of proto-humans who performed the Ritual of Tellann over 300,000 years ago, transforming themselves into undead warriors bound to an eternal existence of dust and bone. They undertook this transformation to wage an unending war against the Jaghut. The T'lan Imass are nearly indestructible - they can reassemble from fragments and continue fighting. Their tragedy is that the Ritual stripped them of most emotion and locked them into a war that most no longer believe in.
