Camorr's grand floating spectacle, held on the water where pleasure barges gather by the dozen. Its centrepiece is blood sport: the contrarequialla, women who fight sharks from platforms in the water, are the most celebrated performers in the city. The Revel draws every rank of Camorri society, and the powerful use its festivities as cover for business and scheming - an audience granted on a don's barge at the Revel carries as much weight as any held in a counting-house.
