One of the Discworld's most beloved characters: the anthropomorphic personification of death, who appears as a seven-foot skeleton in a black robe, carrying a scythe and riding a pale horse named Binky. Death SPEAKS IN CAPITAL LETTERS, has developed a fascination with humanity over the millennia, and occasionally takes a holiday (with catastrophic consequences). He has adopted a human granddaughter (Susan Sto Helit) and lives in a house in a dimension of his own, complete with a garden and a bathroom he has never used.
