Both an individual country and the name of a great continent between the Circle Sea and the Rim Ocean. The word 'Klatchian' is used by Sto Plains folk as practically interchangeable with 'foreign'. The sovereign countries of Tsort, Djelibeybi, Ephebe and Omnia all lie on the Klatchian coast.
